Kristen believes in music as a place of belonging.
Having experienced first-hand the potential of music as a wellspring of connection- to the inner self, loved ones, and the greater community- she is passionate about helping others do the same in a therapeutic space. Her music psychotherapy services foster community and connection in the lives of many adults, seniors, and families facing chronic or life limiting illness, loss, and dementia. Kristen works from a humanistic and person-centred framework that values each person’s need to live with dignity, autonomy and respect. She invites kind curiosity in exploring people’s needs and personal goals whether they be emotional, social, spiritual or physical in nature. |
